Skyhawks Volleyball Camp

At our Skyhawks Volleyball Camp, we prioritize creating an engaging and skill-appropriate environment for all participants. Campers are initially grouped by age, ensuring that players interact with peers close to their own developmental stage. This means that 5-6; 7-10; 11-12 year olds will be placed in a group that matches their age range for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

In addition, our camp director carefully evaluates skill levels throughout the program. If adjustments are needed to foster growth, challenge participants appropriately, or ensure the best possible learning experience, further refinements in groupings may be made. Whether a camper is new to volleyball or has prior experience, they will have the opportunity to build confidence, refine techniques, and enjoy the sport in a supportive atmosphere.

With expert coaching, structured drills, and fun game play, every camper will be set up for success while making lasting memories. We’d love for them to be part of this exciting summer experience!

Dig deep with Skyhawks Volleyball! This program combines the thrill of volleyball with fun while focusing on passing, setting, spiking, hitting, and serving. Beyond skills, volleyball programs emphasize leadership and teamwork, fostering growth as players and team members.

• Appropriate athletic attire and sneakers
• Lunch, two snacks, & water bottle (for programs over four hours)
• Two snacks & water bottle (for programs four hours or less)
• Sunscreen (outdoor camps)
• Hat (optional, outdoor camps)
• Knee/elbow pads are optional, but participants are welcome to wear them.

Every child receives a Skyhawks award certificate and Skyhawks camper t-shirt.

WEATHER POLICY

» Our goal is to not cancel any camp days due to rain showers.
» We will seek shelter until conditions are safe.
» Please pack extra clothing if rain is in the forecast.

That said, your child's safety is our #1 priority and if conditions are deemed unsafe for the day, the rain date is Friday, July 11, 2025 from 9am-12pm.

Camp is open to the public and is offered in partnership with Avalon Recreation Department.
