Monday Funday- 1st Quarter

Skyhawks Sports is providing a full day of structured, enriching care! Our Skyhawks coaches specialize in ‘Teaching Life Skills Through Sports’ where every session we offer includes a life skill that is integrated into our lessons and aimed to prepare kiddos to navigate real life situations - whether at Skyhawks, school, or home! Each coach is not only background checked and first-aid qualified to ensure the safety of your kiddo, but they are trained in facilitating structured, engaging, and educational lessons. If you are interested in registering your kiddo, but are unsure of committing to a full year, you can register your kiddo quarterly to try it out! Registration will remain open throughout the year so you can join the remainder of a quarter. However, you cannot purchase individual Monday sessions

9:45 – 10:00 AM | Snack Break

10:00 – 10:30 AM | Recess: Structured Free Play

10:30 – 11:15 AM | Team Challenge Block: STEM / Problem Solving / Building

11:15 – 12:00 PM | Lunch

12:00 – 12:30 PM | Recess: Outdoor Free Play

12:30 – 12:50 PM | Meditation & Guided Reflection

12:50 – 1:30 PM | Structured Learning: Rotating Weekly Themes

1:30 – 1:45 PM | Quiet Time: Reading

1:45 – 2:00 PM | Snack

2:00 – 2:15 PM | Recess

2:20 – 3:00 PM | Group Game / Sports Scrimmage

2:50 – 3:10 PM | Clean-Up & Daily Circle

3:10 – 3:30 PM | Dismissal

Designed to pair strategic STEM-based activities with basic game-play and current hot topics across multiple sports, the STEM Sports® curriculum gives students the opportunity to get behind the sports they love with modules centered around technology, science and innovation. Subjects vary by sport, but include ball design, calculating distances and angles, velocity, acceleration and much more! Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.

• If your class includes soccer, shin guards are optional.
• If your class includes baseball, please provide a baseball mitt/glove if possible. Limited loaner mitts/gloves may be available.
