Skyhawks Badminton focuses on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded badminton players. Players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, shuttlecock positioning and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. In addition to developing a love for badminton, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make badminton an exciting game to play.

Participants should bring:

• Appropriate athletic attire and sneakers
• A couple of snacks and drinks
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen (outdoor camps)
• Hat (optional, outdoor camps)
• Optional: Badminton racket

Every child receives a Skyhawks award certificate and Skyhawks camper t-shirt.

Kyle and Katelin Campbell bring more than 10 years of combined experience in youth sports leadership, coaching, and program management. Since taking the helm of Skyhawks South Bay in 2022, they’ve been dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and confidence-building sports environment for families across the region.

Deeply passionate about strengthening the South Bay community through youth athletics, Kyle & Katelin are committed to providing programs that teach fundamental skills, teamwork, and perseverance — all while making sure kids have fun.
